Vintage Teacup Inspired Wedding

Ash & Luc’s July Wedding was a vintage dream!  Their ceremony was held at the beautiful Benvoulin Heritage Church in Kelowna, BC and their  reception was held at The Hotel Eldorado.   I loved creating the soft pastel flowers in shades of peach, cream &  white with hints of grey greenery.    The arrangements consisted of Garden Roses, Spray Roses, Hydrangea, Hypericum, Stellata Pods, Stocks, Queen Anne’s Lace and Dusty Millar greens and were arranged in assorted sized vintage milk glass vases.  Vintage teacups from Vintage Origami’s collection were such a sweet addition to the décor.

Thank you so much to Barnett Photography for sharing these images from their day!

Poplar Grove – Okanagan Winery Wedding

From the moment I met Jenn to discuss the floral arrangements for her Fall wedding at Poplar Grove Winery, I knew that it was going to be a gorgeous event. I was even more excited that I would be working alongside my dear friend Yuriko Larson owner of Vintage Origami – who stylized the entire wedding and provided all of the fabulous furniture pieces, props & décor. Thank you to Brooke & Michele from White Linen Photography for providing me with these gorgeous photos to share. I hope you enjoy this little bit of eye candy as much as I loved being a part of it.

My favorite part of every wedding is creating the bridal bouquet, and this one was to die for! Jenn’s vintage inspired bouquet consisted of Roses, Dahlias, Hypericum, Queen Anne’s Lace, Succulents, Scabiosa Pods & Seeded Eucalyptus.

The ceremony was on a grassy area just below Poplar Grove Winery, overlooking Lake Okanagan. The view was breathtaking! Such a perfect location for a ceremony.

Vintage Origami’s white doors marked the entrance to the aisle, and turquoise blue mason jars were filled with white hydrangea stems. So simple, yet so elegant.

Our rustic wooden boxes looked beautiful with large arrangements on top in pastel shades.

These pretty little arrangements in Vintage Origami’s milk glass were placed at the entrance to the aisle.

Jenn – the bride, and her stunning dress and bouquet.

The bridesmaids bouquet was just a pretty as the brides!

Arrangements in milk glass vases on the signing table, inside of the winery.

The long picnic tables had multiple little arrangements, created in teacups and creamers.

An example of a few of the many small arrangements on the picnic tables, each one was different. Look at that gorgeous garden rose!

Smaller centerpieces in milk glass vases, sat on top of the highboy’s inside the winery.

The large ceremony arrangements were brought inside the winery, to add more décor into the reception area.

Yuriko displayed the candy bar in her beautiful Apothecary Jars. I created a few smaller arrangements to put in-between the jars.

Close up of the small floral arrangements. Loved these ones created in pink depression glass creamers.

I had to include one of the happy couple. It’s photo’s like these that make me appreciate the beauty that we live in. Congratulations again to Jenn & Matt, I wish you and your little family all the happiness in the world. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!
